If you prefer to rent a house for the weekend, Fairhope and the surrounding Eastern Shore have a wonderful selection of Airbnbs and VRBOs! There are plenty of great options, whether you are looking for a walkable cottage in downtown Fairhope or a larger house to share with other guests near the bay. We recommend booking early, as early April is a beautiful and popular time to visit the area!

For our guests staying at The Grand Hotel, take full advantage of their gorgeous property! Lounge by the resort pools, relax on the private sandy beach right on Mobile Bay, or reserve one of their courts for a game of pickleball.
Calling all golfers: Guests staying at The Grand have exclusive access to book tee times at Lakewood Golf Club (part of The Grand Hotel). If you are hoping to get a round in during the weekend festivities, we highly recommend calling the pro shop ahead of time to reserve your spot!

If you are looking to truly unwind before the weekend festivities, we cannot recommend The Spa at The Grand enough! They offer everything from couple's massages and facials to full salon and nail services.
Booking a treatment also gives you full access to the spa's private amenities, including the indoor pool, eucalyptus steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and relaxation rooms.
A quick tip: The spa is incredibly popular and appointments book up well in advance. If you are hoping for a little pampering, we highly suggest booking your treatment as soon as you lock in your travel plans! (Oh, and they serve complimentary champagne with every service!)

Fairhope offers incredible access to inshore fishing right on Mobile Bay—especially if you want to reel in some Redfish or Speckled Trout! If you’re looking to get out on the water, book a charter, or need recommendations on a great local guide, just ask Hayden. He’s got all the insider info to get you set up for a perfect day on the water.

Getting Here
If you are flying in to celebrate with us, you have three great airport options to choose from:
Pensacola International Airport (PNS): Located just over the Florida state line, this airport is about a 1-hour drive from Fairhope. It usually offers the widest variety of flight times and airline options.
Mobile Regional Airport (MOB): Located in Alabama, this is the closest airport to town and is about a 45-minute drive to Fairhope.
Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF): Located about 40 minutes south of Fairhope, this smaller airport is incredibly easy to navigate.
Transportation to Fairhope
Once you land, getting to Fairhope is easy. All three airports have Ubers and Lyfts readily available to take you directly to your hotel or rental house. All three airports also offer standard rental car services.
If staying at The Grand Hotel, round-trip and one-way shuttle services can easily be arranged. You can contact 251-990-6370 to learn more about their airport shuttle services.
Once you are in downtown Fairhope, the area is incredibly walkable! However, if you want a fun and easy way to cruise around town and down to the bay during the weekend, you can also rent a street-legal golf cart locally from H&M Golf Cart Sales. If staying at The Grand Hotel, you can also reserve shuttle transportation to take you downtown and back. The shuttle departs at 11 am from the valet circle and returns at 3 pm.

We love your little ones so much, but we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a parents' night out!
What will the weather be like?

Early April in Fairhope is usually beautiful! Expect daytime highs in the low 70s and evening lows in the 50s. Since we will be outside for the ceremony and dinner, we recommend bringing a light shawl for after the sun sets.
